Days are warm, nights are clear and crisp - Fall is in the air. Fall is the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors with your friends and family. The A/T in Connecticut will soon be ablaze with the colors of the changing leaves. The pine forests of the Blue Trails will me crisp and quite. If you don't have time for a full weekend of camping or backpacking consider day hikes. Connecticut has the second most miles of hiking trails in New England, behind New Hampshire - surprising isn't it. Day hikes combine exercise, beautiful views and time together with the family outdoors.

Scouting is Alive and Well in Connecticut!
Packs are recruiting Cub Scouts, and Brownie and Girl Scouts Troops are getting rolling again.
